The FAQ

How do we book you?

A.Click on the contact page above and complete the online form. I will get back to you with 48 hours. To secure your date with me, I require a £200 deposit for half coverage or £250 deposit for a full day and a contract to be signed.

How many photos do we get?

A.Every wedding is completely different so it's difficult to provide every couple with an exact figure. If I'm with you all day you can expect an average of 500 images.

How do we get our photos?

A.Depending on your package you will receive your images via an online gallery or a luxury USB. Your options will be discussed at your final meet up.

What is your turn around time?

A.All your photos will be with you between 4-6 weeks but can take 6- 8 weeks during peak season. I will let you know when your images are nearly ready.

What is the final meet up for?

A.This is a perfect time to catch up on all your wedding plans and to go through the schedule of the day. It is also a great opportunity to plot out what parts of the venue will be great for family and couple shots.

Do you travel?

A.Yes! However for weddings I cover up to a 50-mile radius from Southport. If the wedding venue exceeds 1.5 hours of travel, cost of accommodation may be required.

What if you're ill on the day?

A.Touch wood (touch my head and the cabinet next to me), I will not need to find cover but I am fortunate to know many lovely wedding photographers that would be more than happy to help cover me if required.

Do we need an engagement shoot?

A.An engagement shoot is a great way to have a bit of practice in front of the lens, especially if you haven’t had a shoot before. It's also a great opportunity to get to know each other better before the big day.

It's also a fab idea if you want to personalise your wedding stationary and use any images from your shoot on your special day.

What do we wear for an engagement shoot?

A.Comfort is key! Having your photograph taken can be nerve racking enough so make sure your comfortable during your shoot. I want you to be focusing on each other and having lots of fun, not worrying about your clothes. I always encourage wearing something with colour to make your photos pop. Try to avoid wearing tops with huge logos, brands and crazy patterns.

Footwear : Before your engagement shoot we will decide on a location together and your footwear should suit the location. If we are going to be walking through the woods or big open fields, I don't think heels will be the way forward.
