Wedding Photography at The Whitehall Hotel

It was my first time at the White Hall Hotel capturing Charlotte & Liam's special day and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The celebrations started straight after the formalities and with the help of PC Roadshows Entertainment, everyone was up and dancing, cheering and banging spoons.

What made you choose your wedding venue?

"We wanted to get married in Darwen as that’s where we live and most of our friends and family are based. We visited the Astley Bank which was lovely, then the Whitehall. The Whitehall just made us feel at home, very friendly, cosey, rustic feel to it which we love."

Tell me about your theme, colours and/or style for the day.

"Me and Liam have the same taste which is very handy, we both like rustic, wooden furniture etc. So, for years since we got engaged, I made a scrapbook of a vision I wanted it to look like, things changed over the years, but the theme with mauve, gold and greenery always stayed."

What was your favourite moments/memories of the day?

"We have both said we would love to do it all again in a heartbeat and there’s nothing we would change. Everything went the way it should be, just having the people you love there celebrating us was incredible. I don’t think we left the dance floor in the evening and we were just in a huge love bubble as cheesy as it sounds."

Any tips or advice for future couples planning their special day?

"Try not to stress too much, enjoy your time together in the lead up to the wedding, as money and stress can be daunting and you need to remember why you’re doing this-you two come first. Take everything in on the wedding day as it really does go so fast!"
