Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photography

I love being outdoors especially amongst the trees and the countryside and Rivington is one of my favourite spots to have a casual stroll or if I'm feeling adventurous, a hike up the hill. So, when Jess & Byron contacted me to see if I was available to capture their special day at Rivington Hall Barn, I let out a little squeal.

It's not my first time at the barn but every time I'm there, I fall in love with it just a little bit more (if that's possible). The staff here are amazing and so attentive. Rivington Hall barn is a family ran, Grade II listed building that gives you the ultimate wow factor, with

its original Saxon beams, fairy lights dreamy white drapes, this stunning building is located in the heart of Rivington, Lancashire.

Here is what Jess & Byron had to say about their special day...

What made you choose your wedding venue?

"Rivington Hall Barn was always going to be our wedding venue. So much so, we didn’t even look at another venue. It was the place we had our first date and somewhere we can revisit regularly.

It’s near our home and accessible for all our friends and family. This meant we could be surrounded by our loved ones on our special day. The barn is stunning and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The staff were fantastic from start to finish. The effort they put in to making our day so special was incredible. They are all so kind. Nothing was too much trouble."

Tell me about your theme, colours and/or style for the day.

"We wanted to keep the theme quite simple and rustic because we felt our venue was beautiful enough. We love the colour Lavender and felt we hadn’t seen it that often, making it a little different.'

What was your favourite moments/memories of the day?

It would be impossible to pick a favourite moment. The whole day was perfect from start to finish. It doesn’t get better than being able to marry your best friend, surrounded by your loved ones. We are still on cloud nine.

(The bingo was hilarious and created the best atmosphere. We’d recommend that to anyone and everyone)

Any tips or advice for future couples planning their special day?

Enjoy every single second! Don’t worry too much about all the little things because it will all turn out perfect on the day.

We are quite camera shy and the thought of being in front of a camera all day made us quite anxious. Lynette put all our fears to rest.
